Mobile Publications in Blogger

Lately I've tried posting mobile to my blog. This gave me several problems. Since I couldn't have access to the mobile Android app, I decided to try to see if there was an in browser app for mobile phones. Sadly, it doesn't exist. I didn't want to do the SMS messaging feature to publish posts, so I set up an email system. This is the first post I've published from the mobile in browser gmail app. So I'm not going to rant on why there is no mobile Blogger app in browser. But I really think there should be one. Since my blog has a mobile webpage for mobile browsers, there should be a way for me to post from a browser.

UberStrike: A Free FPS

For many of you out there that aren't into social games on Facebook, you probably may not have heard of UberStrike. Being on of the first "social shooters" out there, this game has a lot to offer for both hardcore FPS fans, and casual FPS gamers. But one of the major things that sets UberStrike apart from other FPS games, is the fact that it can run completely inside you web browser!!! Using the power of a 3d game engine, and a web plugin system, UberStrike can run seamlessly in a browser through Unity 3d technology.

Throughout the development of UberStrike, there has always been a great community behind it. Previously known as "Paradise Paintball" the games update which changed it to "UberStrike" has also given added content which includes much more maps, and items. The game seems to be getting better and better.

Here is an image showing a player wearing a custom outfit and holding a cannon. The customization aspect of the game can appeal to casual gamers.

There are numerous updates to the game. Displayed here is the Christmas map of 2011. 

The gameplay is quite fast and action packed. So far there are game modes that are:

• Deathmath: Every player against each other to try to get the highest score to win the game before time runs out
• Team Deathmatch: 2 teams compete against each other for the highest amount of kills untill the time runs out or the max limit is reached.
• Team Elimination: Teams face off, and the you are only given one life per round. Round end when the last team member(s) alive earns the team a win, and the other team is completely dead.

Capture the Flag is also said to come out soon. But what really amazes me when it comes to UberStrike is the mobile version in development.
